Suji ka chilla Ingredients
1 cup rava (semolina / suji)
½ cup curd (yogurt)
½ cup water (as needed)
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 small tomato, finely chopped
1 small capsicum (optional), finely chopped
1–2 green chilies, finely chopped
1 tsp grated ginger
Salt to taste
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp red chili powder
½ tsp cumin seeds
Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
Oil for cooking
👩🍳 Method
In a bowl, mix rava, curd, and water to make a smooth, slightly thin batter.
Add all vegetables, spices, salt, and coriander. Mix well.
Let the batter rest for 10–15 minutes so the rava absorbs moisture.
Heat a non-stick or iron tawa and grease lightly with oil.
Pour a ladle of batter and spread gently into a circle.
Cook on medium heat until golden and crisp on both sides.
