These stuffed flatbreads are then roasted on a hot tawa (griddle) with ghee or butter until they turn golden brown and crisp.
Aloo Paratha is typically served hot with fresh curd, tangy pickle, and a generous dollop of white butter on top. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or even dinner, it fits perfectly on the plate at any time of the day.

1. Prepare Dough
Mix wheat flour, a pinch of salt, and water. Knead soft dough and rest for 15–20 minutes.
2. Make Aloo Filling
Boil & mash potatoes. Add chopped onion, green chilli, coriander, salt, red chilli powder, amchur, garam masala. Mix well.
3. Stuff & Roll: Take a dough ball, roll slightly, place filling in center.Seal edges and roll gently into paratha.
4. Cook Paratha: Heat tawa, cook paratha on both sides with ghee or oil until golden brown.
5. Serve Hot : With curd, butter, or pickle.
