Rava Chilla

        Suji ka chilla       Ingredients

  • 1 cup rava (semolina / suji)
  • ½ cup curd (yogurt)
  • ½ cup water (as needed)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 small capsicum (optional), finely chopped
  • 1–2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • Oil for cooking

👩‍🍳 Method
  1. In a bowl, mix rava, curd, and water to make a smooth, slightly thin batter.
  2. Add all vegetables, spices, salt, and coriander. Mix well.
  3. Let the batter rest for 10–15 minutes so the rava absorbs moisture.
  4. Heat a non-stick or iron tawa and grease lightly with oil.
  5. Pour a ladle of batter and spread gently into a circle.
  6. Cook on medium heat until golden and crisp on both sides.
